Day-1:Arrival at Paro and drive to Thimphu:

At the Chhatrapati Shivaji International Airport, you will be greeted by our tour operator and then board to the fight. After arrival at the Paro International airport (2hrs 10mins), you will be transferred to Thimphu by a well-maintained pre-booked car. It will take 45mins to reach Thimphu. On arrival at Thimphu, we will check into a hotel and serve you with the first taste of Bhutanese cuisine. Overnight stay in the hotel.

Day-2: Thimphu Sightseeing:

On the next morning, after having breakfast, we will drive out to explore the best Thimphu sightseeing places, such as-

  • National Memorial Chorten
  • The Weekend Market
  • Zorig Chusum School of Traditional Arts
  • The National Folk Heritage Museum
  • The National Library

Overnight stay in a hotel of Thimphu.

Day-3: Trip to Trongsa:

On the 3rd day of our tour, in the early morning, after breakfast, we will bring you to Trongsa which will take 6 hours to reach. On the way, we will stop at Dochu-La pass (3,088m) to witness the charming view and admiring the beauty of prayer flags which flanked at the highest point on the road. Then continue onwards to reach Wangdue Phodrang for lunch. After lunch, we will also explore Chendbji Chorten, where the Kathmandus Swayambhunath Stupa is placed. After arrival at Trongsa in the late afternoon, we will check into the lodge for the overnight stay.

Day-4: Trongsa to Bumthang:

On the next morning, after taking a fresh breakfast, we will go to witness the ornate architecture of Trongsa Dzong. This Dzong is famous for being the oldest and for holding the traditions of Bhutan. Then we will drive to Bumthang and it will take 3 hours to reach. On arrival in Bumthang, we will check in to a pre-booked lodge for overnight stay.

Day-5: Explore the beauty of Bumthang sightseeing places:

On the 5th day, we will bring you to the most popular places to see in Bumthang, which are-

  • Kurje Lhakhang
  • Jambay Lhakhang
  • Tamshing Lhakhang
  • Jakar Dzong

Furthermore, you can also go to the Handicrafts shop for buying souvenirs and also take refreshments at a local restaurant. Overnight stay in a lodge of Bumthang.

Day-6: Transfer to Gangtey from Bumthang:

In the early morning, after breakfast, we will drive to Gangtey which will take 6hours to reach. On arrival, we will check into a lodge for refreshment, Then we will go for exploring the Gangtey Goenpa and Phobjikha Valley, a few km from the monastery. Here, you can witness the black-necked cranes in the winter months. Overnight stay in the lodge of Gangtey.

Day-7: Trip to Punakha:

On the 7th day, we will drive to Punakha and it will take 3hrs to reach. After arrival, check into a hotel for the refreshment. Then after having lunch, we will bring you to visit Punakha Dzong, Khamsum Yulley Namgyal Chorten etc. Overnight stay in the hotel of Punakha.

Day-8: Drive to Paro from Punakha:

In the early morning, after breakfast, we will transfer you to Paro. It will take 4.5hrs to reach. On arrival and after check into a hotel for having lunch, we will start our tour to visit-

  • Simtokha Dzong
  • Ta Dzong
  • Rinpung Dzong

In the evening we will back to our hotel and spend the evening time at leisure. Overnight stay in the hotel of Paro.

Day-9: Paro Sightseeing:

On the next morning, after breakfast, we will drive up the valley to Drukgyel Dzong to explore its beauty. Then we will go to the Taktsang Monastery viewpoint, which is one of the most famous of Bhutans monasteries being perched at an elevation of 900m above the Paro valley floor. In the evening while returning to the hotel we will visit Kyichu Lhakhang. Overnight stay in the hotel of Paro.

Day-10: Depart from Paro to Mumbai:

On the last day of our Bhutan trip, after early breakfast, we will check out from the hotel and will drive to the Paro International Airport for boarding a flight to reach Mumbai.
