Itinerary: Nepal and Bhutan tour

Duration: 7N/8D

Day 1: Arrival to Kathmandu

 

On arriving Kathmandu from Bagdogra airport you will be assisted in the airport and then transfer you to the hotel.

In the afternoon you can go to the Durbar Square and Kumari Chowk. From the Chowk, you can drive to the Swayambhunath Stupa.

Overnight stay at the hotel.

Day 2: Full day sightseeing

 

After breakfast, you can leave for a full day tour. You can start with Pashupatinath temple. Later, continue to the Boudhanath Stupa, Chhauni Museum, and Royal Botanical Gardens.

During the evening stroll around the markets and enjoy the nightlife of Kathmandu.

Overnight stay at the hotel.

Day 3: Pokhara welcomes you

 

After breakfast, from Kathmandu airport fly to Pokhara and transfer to the hotel.

In the afternoon, visit the Pokhara town, Seti Gorge, Gupteshwor Cave, and Davis Fall. You can also do one-hour boating in Phewa Lake. Rest of the day you can stroll around the lakeside.

Day 4: Transfer to Paro

 

After early morning excursion to Sarangkot hill, you can transfer to the Pokhara airport to fly to Paro. On arrival, you will be transferred to the hotel for rest.

After lunch, you can drive to Thimphu to visit the National Memorial Chorten.

In the evening you can take rest or walk around the city.

Day 5: Thimphu day tour

 

After early morning breakfast, you can drive to explore Thimphu. Starting with Buddha Point you can drive to Motithang Takin Preserve and National Library of Bhutan.

Later in the afternoon, visit National Zorig Chusum, and Changangkha Lhakhang. In the evening you can take rest in the hotel.

Overnight stay at the hotel.

Day 6: Stepping into Punakha

 

In the morning you can drive to Punakha via the mesmerizing Dochula Pass. Upon arrival, visit Punakha Dzong in the afternoon and spend your day in the peace and serenity.

The evening is free for you to have dinner at a restaurant and take rest.

Overnight stay at the hotel.

Day 7: Returning to Paro again

 

After breakfast, visit Chimi Lhakhang and drive back to Paro again. On arrival check-in to the hotel and spend your day in leisure.

Day 8: Final Departure

 

Early morning check out from the hotel and drive to Tigers Nest Monastery. Take a hike and enjoy the elegance of the monastery.

Later transfer to the airport and start your onward journey with the hope of returning again.
